Duties of Chaplains

• Provide emotional, moral, & spiritual help to emergency services personnel

• Assist agencies should there be a line of duty injury or death

• Make visits to hospital and/or funeral home to support personnel during difficult times

• Provide counseling for personnel & their family members

• Provide critical incident stress debriefings to personnel

• Provide support to families in the community during crisis situations

• Assist personnel in making death notifications to members of the community

• Responds to the scene of any law enforcement shooting

• Responds to all major disasters whether man made or natural

• Serve as a liaison with religious leaders of the community, as well as other groups

All Chaplains volunteer their services. All funds received are returned to the community through ministry efforts.
